Digital Empire Builder status

Digital Empire Builder (DEB) is an internal, pre-revenue development project. It is not currently offered as a public commercial service.

Internal analytical and research use

DEB's YouTube-related feature is used for internal analytical and research purposes only, to help evaluate business opportunity signals from public data.

YouTube-powered feature scope

The YouTube-powered feature is read-only and limited to public video, channel, and search metadata available through the official YouTube Data API.

Applicable provider terms

Use of this feature remains subject to two separate sets of Google/YouTube terms, in addition to these Terms. First, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service govern DEB's use of the YouTube Data API as an API Client. Second, and separately, by using the YouTube API-powered functionality of this application, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, which is a separate, distinct document from the YouTube API Services Terms of Service referenced above. Related Google/YouTube developer policies also apply.

Prohibited misuse

This application must not be used to attempt unauthorized access to any provider system, to circumvent any provider policy, or to misrepresent DEB-derived metrics as YouTube-provided data.

Distinction between provider data and DEB-generated metrics

Data retrieved directly from YouTube is always labelled "YouTube-provided data"; values DEB calculates itself are always labelled "DEB-derived metric". The two are never presented interchangeably.

No endorsement

Nothing in this application implies that Google or YouTube endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with Digital Empire Builder.

No false public commercial availability

DEB does not currently claim to be a publicly available commercial product or service, and does not claim to have public customers.

Limitations appropriate to an internal, pre-revenue project

Because DEB is an internal, pre-revenue project, features described here (including this YouTube-related feature) may change, and no availability, accuracy, or business-outcome guarantee is made.
